This is the Malad Gorge, a deep "crack" in the earth dug out by the Snake River. If you have no idea what or where it is..one can easily find themselves missing it completely because although a bridge does cross it..the barrier walls are at a height where it's impossible to see how deep and beautiful it is.

A waterfall and small lake formed at one end of the Malad Gorge...sorry the picture quality isn't as good here..but I had to reduce the quality so it would be web friendly..even so..seeing it in real life is so much more of an experience and sight to see.
